Blake's wife's secret burial

HOLLYWOOD - Due to intrusive reporters, the family of Bonny Lee Bakley, the murdered wife of actor Robert Blake, has cancelled her scheduled funeral in New Jersey. They are searching for a secret location in California for the burial. In a joint statement, Blake and family members decided to bury Bakley in secret after several reporters and photographers camped out Wednesday night at a Los Angeles mortuary trying to photograph Bakley's body and at the funeral home in New Jersey. "While we understand the media interest, and we understand that the media is only 'doing its job,' we respectfully request that the media desist from its efforts to intrude upon the grief of Mr. Blake, Leebonny's family and their friends, and allow Leebonny's remains to be finally put to rest," the statement said.
