The Blind Side's John Lee Hancock has been tapped to write and direct an upcoming adaptation of The Partner, John Grisham's bestselling novel.
The 2005 book is about a young lawyer in Mississippi who fakes his own death and winds up stealing millions from his law firm.
In addition to the blockbuster 2009 Best Picture nominee The Blind Side, Hancock has directed The Rookie and The Alamo.
