HOLLYWOOD - Ray Bradbury will write an adaptation of his 1951 short-story collection The Illustrated Man as a two-hour movie for The Sci Fi Channel. According to Reuters, the writer claims that "for the first time in many years, I wrote the script by hand with pen and a pad, a total of 160 pages." Bradbury, 81 is currently adapting his novel Frost & Fire for the screen, and his production of Sound of Thunder is set to star actor Pierce Brosnan in an $80 million production. Bradbury told Reuters he has three books coming out in the next few months: a novel, a collection of short stories, and a nonfiction chapbook.
