Actor Zach Braff is heading back to TV comedy Scrubs -- just months after announcing his decision to quit the hit show.
The 34-year-old actor has starred as Dr. John 'J.D.' Dorian since the show's inception in 2001, but announced earlier this year he was leaving at the end of the eighth season to pursue a career in directing.
But he's now decided to head back to the ward for six episodes in the forthcoming season to wrap up several storylines and hand over to a new cast lineup.
