Brest books Affleck for "Gigli"
HOLLYWOOD - Martin Brest, the director of Meet Joe Black, will return to filmmaking with Gigli, a project he scripted that will star Pearl Harbor lead Ben Affleck. Brest has not been behind the camera in three years--and has not directed a film he wrote himself in over 20 years, since 1979's Going in Style. Gigli tells the tale of a mobster (Affleck) who kidnaps a district attorney's mentally challenged brother.
