British contestant tempted on first show
HOLLYWOOD - While few of the "committed" American contestants on Fox's Temptation Island last season were tempted by the beautiful models who were assigned to lure them, one of the British contestants immediately dumped his fiancée on the very first episode to engage in an "illicit sex romp" with a temptress, the British tabloid News of the World reported over the weekend. Although the BSkyB series will not air until September -- and contestants have been sworn to secrecy -- word of the affair came about after the spurned fiancée informed friends and family that her wedding was off. A friend of the girl told the tabloid: "We warned her she was playing with fire going on a trip like this when she already had doubts. ... A tropical holiday has turned into a total nightmare."
