British officials never saw "sick" TV show

HOLLYWOOD - At least two British officials who condemned a Channel 4 satirical program that dealt with pedophilia never saw the program. Child Protection Minister Beverley Hughes, who had called it "unspeakably sick," acknowledged Monday that she had only been told about the contents of the Brass Eye program. She noted, however, that it had also been condemned by Home Secretary David Blunkett, who, she said, "clearly has not seen it." Blunkett is blind.
