Brittany Murphy Dies at Age 32

TMZ is reporting that actress Brittany Murphy died Sunday morning at age 32 after going into cardiac arrest.

Murphy starred in hits like Clueless, 8 Mile and Happy Feet, and she had several movies lined up in various stages of production.

She also dated actor Ashton Kutcher, with whom she starred in 2003’s Just Married.

UPDATE 4:00pm ET: According to TMZ, It was Murphy's mother who discovered her unconscious in the shower. When paramedics arrived just after 8 a.m., they immediately began administering CPR and rushed her to nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

UPDATE 10:00pm ET: A Los Angeles County coroner's official says it appears actress Brittany Murphy died of natural causes.
