The veteran actress will be handed the honour for her TV and film work, as well as her humanitarian accomplishments, at the annual prizegiving in Los Angeles on 23 January (10).
Bullock will pay tribute to White - who has been a regular on American television for more than 60 years - after they became close on the set of hit comedy The Proposal, in which White played Ryan Reynold's grandmother.
The 87 year old is best known for her role as lovable Rose Nylund in 1980s sitcom Golden Girls.
