HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage has bought a second island in the Bahamas, after selling his luxury Malibu, California, home for nearly $10 million.
Cage spent a reported $3 million on the 40-plus-acre getaway, which he plans to turn into a romantic hideaway for him and wife Alice, whom he married in 2004.
It's the second time the actor has bought island property in the Caribbean region--in 2000 he bought another Bahamian island.
