Carey Mulligan has landed the lead-female role in the Coen brothers' next movie, and she reportedly might be close to doing the same for Spike Jonze's next effort.
In the Coens' Inside Llewyn Davis, about an up-and-coming musician in 1960s New York City, Mulligan will star alongside Oscar Isaac.
The actress is currently in negotiations, meanwhile, for the untitled Jonze film, which focuses on world leaders and their discussion of disasters and stars Joaquin Phoenix.
Mulligan will next be seen on Christmas Day 2012 as Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.
