Hollywood - The Hollywood Reporter says the Cartoon Network will begin airing a new three-hour block of entertainment aimed at adult viewers on September 2. Adult Swim will showcase five new series, including new episodes of the cult talk show Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The block will air on Sunday and Thursday nights from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. and will come with a TV-PG or TV-14 rating, warning viewers of adult-targeted content at every break. The rotating lineup will include episodes of Home Movies, an animated series featuring comedian Brendan Small as a third-grader who makes movies of his life, and new episodes of Soup 2 Nuts. Both originally aired on UPN. New series will include Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Leave it to Brak and Sealab 2021, a remake of Hanna-Barbera production about an undersea city featuring the voice of CHiPs hunk Erik Estrada.
