Charlie Sheen To Go To Jail

Chalie SheenCharlie Sheen, star of Two and a Half Men, will serve 30 days in jail after pleading no-contest to a misdemeanor assault charge. The CBS star was originally arrested on Christmas for domestic abuse of his wife, Brooke Mueller. Sheen’s deal with the Aspen courts will drop the charge of felony menacing, and require the Golden Globe winner to undergo 36 hours of anger management.

Sheen was offered a choice between jail time and probation but opted for jail, probably due to his past difficulty with parole violation. The Young Guns actor was given two years probation in 1997 for misdemeanor battery charges after attacking his girlfriend Brittany Ashland, which he violated by overdosing on cocaine in 1998. 9-11 Truther divorced his second wife, Denise Richards, after she alleged that he was physically abusive and heavily using drugs. The sick-bastard-who-should-only-have-the-shattered-remnants-of-a-career also broke off an engagement with fiancee Kelly Preston after shooting her in the arm.

For his most recent charge, Sheen will enter his plea on Monday and begin serving jail time, which may be as little as 17 days if he is released early for good behavior.
