HOLLYWOOD - The Sopranos creator David Chase flew to France to avoid the media analysis following the series' finale on Sunday night.

The Mob drama ended on Sunday after six seasons and left many fans questioning the open-ended conclusion.

Chase, 61, tells New Jersey's Star-Ledger of Newark newspaper, "I have no interest in explaining, defending, reinterpreting, or adding to what is there.

"People get the impression that you're trying to (mess) with them, and it's not true. You're trying to entertain them. Anybody who wants to watch it, it's all there."
