The actress, who is currently starring in Broadway musical Promises, Promises, was waiting to get her caffeine fix at a New York City Starbucks when she was snubbed by a lazy worker.

Chenoweth fired off in a series of furious posts on social networking website Twitter, warning followers not to visit that specific location and naming the barista who took her order.

And she was stunned when management intervened.

She explains, "I twitted (sic) that there was a rude Starbucks person... Rude! I said, 'Don't go to the one on (this street)... so-and-so is rude.' (I reported it) on my twit (Twitter). The next thing I know, the manager of Starbucks in Missouri said, 'I'm taking care of it.' So I might have gotten somebody fired. I hope she didn't lose her job. But people don't have jobs so you better be grateful!"
