Chris Evans and Billie Piper wed, Vegas style
HOLLYWOOD - Pop star Billie Piper and British media personality Chris Evans married Sunday during a secret ceremony in Las Vegas, a Virgin Radio spokeswoman told Reuters. Virgin Radio, where Evans hosts a morning program, reports the couple wed four months in advance to evade the media spotlight. Evans, 35, has been out of the media glare after a short-lived romance with ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. In March, he fell in love with Piper, 18, and the couple bought a Victorian home together in London, where they lived. "She has a very old head on a lovely body. The age difference doesn't bother us in the slightest," Evans was quoted as saying.
