The late Chris Farley

fathered a love child just before he died in 1997.

Josette Doyle has come forward with sensational claims her eight-year-old son

Sterling is the result of a one-night stand between her and Farley.

Just a week after the chubby funnyman was honored with a star on Hollywood's

Walk of Fame, Doyle has decided to make her revelation so little Sterling can

enjoy the boast of having a famous dad.

Doyle claims she slept with Farley once after meeting him outside a club in

New York in December 1996.

She had been told she couldn't have kids and was stunned when she discovered

she was pregnant. She told Farley she was pregnant but the funnyman turned his

back on her.

She says, "He said, 'I need to get my head around this.'" Three months later, Farley died after an accidental overdose.

Meanwhile, Doyle is inviting members of Farley's family to come forward to

quiz her about her claims--because she hopes that will lead to her son finding

out more about his father.

She says, "Sterling has started asking a lot of questions about Chris. It

would be nice for him to learn more. He's brought so much joy to my life. It's time that Chris' family got their

share too."
