Oscar winning actress Cloris Leachman is home from the hospital after falling ill late last week.
Her spokeswoman said in a statement that Leachman, 82, “had a slight cough and wasn’t feeling totally herself, so she went and sought medical attention from her doctor." Luckily the star, who recently became the oldest contestant to compete on Dancing with the Stars, is recovering and her spokeswoman told reporters, "She is currently at her home, and is expected to tape something for Dancing with the Stars later this week.”
Earlier, Entertainment Tonight had reported that Leachman, who won an Oscar in 1971 for The Last Picture Show, was fighting pneumonia, but those specifics have not been confirmed and the extent of her illness is not known according to Reuters.
