Gillian Jacobs is making the most of Community's indefinite hiatus, signing on for a cameo in the Steve Carell comedy Burt Wonderstone, THR reports. The actress is slated to play a romantic conquest of Carell's title character, a pompous Las Vegas magician whose act hasn't changed since the '70s. It's Jacobs' second turn in a Carell film; she can next be seen with him in Lorene Scafaria's (Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist) apocalypse-themed rom-com Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which opens June 22, 2012. By which time we can only hope that Community will have safely returned to NBC's schedule and earned a triumphant fourth season.
