HOLLYWOOD - The Las Vegas district attorney has filed a criminal complaint against O.J. Simpson and four associates involved in an alleged armed robbery.
The former sports star-turned-actor was arrested in Sin City on Sunday, where he has been held without bail ever since.
He faces a hearing with a Clark County Court judge on Wednesday morning, at which point the Naked Gun star will learn whether or not he'll be released on bail.
Simpson and his three pals--Michael McClinton, Walter Alexander and Clarence Stewart--have been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, conspiracy to commit robbery, and burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon as part of a 10-count document.
The charges relate to an incident at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino on Thursday night, when Simpson and his associates allegedly forced a sports memorabilia collector to hand over valuable signed items at gunpoint.
Simpson maintains the items belonged to him and had been stolen from a storage locker belonging to his late mother.
In the paperwork, presented to Clark County officials on Tuesday, the district attorney states, "Defendants and one or more uncharged confederates, did...meet with each other and...willfully and unlawfully conspire and agree to commit a crime."
The most shocking charge against the foursome is that of assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim of the said robbery, collector Alfred Beardsley, claims he suffered "immediate bodily harm" in the raid on his hotel suite.
