HOLLYWOOD - Antipodean actor Russell Crowe is the latest famous face to be linked to the upcoming Star Trek movie.
In recent weeks, Internet reports have suggested Tom Cruise, British pop star Robbie Williams and now Crowe will appear in the sci-fi film.
Filmmaker J.J. Abrams--who directed Cruise in Mission: Impossible III last year--is directing the 11th Star Trek movie and is reportedly in talks with Crowe.
An insider tells British newspaper Daily Express, "Russell is definitely considering J.J.'s offer. Russell was always a big Star Trek fan as a kid, which is a big bonus."
