HOLLYWOOD - Tom Cruise and Will Smith are hosting a private celebrity-packed party to welcome soccer superstar David Beckham and his Spice Girl wife Victoria to Los Angeles on Sunday.
The Beckhams and their three sons arrived in California on July 12, ahead of David's upcoming debut for local soccer team L.A. Galaxy, set to take place on Saturday--if he recovers from an ankle injury in time.
Family friends Cruise and Smith will host Sunday's invite-only bash for 600 guests at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary in downtown Los Angeles.
Among those expected to attend are George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, Steven Spielberg, Anjelica Huston, David Geffen and Jerry Bruckheimer.
