HOLLYWOOD - Tom Cruise has told Germany's top tabloid that he and Katie Holmes will wed this summer, after the birth of their baby and the release of his new movie, Mission: Impossible 3.
Cruise was in Germany to promote the film and appeared on wacky TV show Wetten Dass...
He told show host Thomas Gottschalk that two pilots were on standby to fly him back to America if his pregnant fiancée went into labor.
Then, during an interview with today's Bild magazine, Cruise laughed off reports the couple was about to split, confirming that he and Holmes plan to wed in the coming months.
He said, "First the baby, then the film. Then, in summer, we want to get married. I won't let this woman get away."
Mission: Impossible 3 will be released in on May 5. The couple will celebrate their first engagement anniversary in June.
