HOLLYWOOD - Daisy Duke is going brunette again in the prequel to last year's Dukes of Hazzard movie.
Maxim model April Scott will step into blonde Jessica Simpson's cowboy boots to play the sexy country girl opposite Willie Nelson.
Scott, whose biggest role to date is as a model on game show Deal or No Deal, has snagged the much coveted role of Duke after a string of fierce auditions, according to website moviehole.net.
Scott is a brunette and looks similar to 1980s pin-up Catherine Bach, who originally played Duke on TV.
Meanwhile, another newcomer, Randy Wayne, will replace Seann William Scott as Luke Duke in the prequel, which is expected to be released straight to DVD next year.
