I had a brief moment of worry about our little boy wizard Daniel Radcliffe. I know that he has been trying to distance himself from Harry Potter for years and has done a fantastic job with a classic appearance on Extras and some stunning turns on stage in Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. But how would he do in film without a wand? Judging from the new teaser for The Woman in Black, he looks to do fairly well.
Granted, this is only 49 seconds long and our boy Radcliffe is in it for all of about 7 seconds, but I couldn’t even see a trace of wizardry in it. I think he’ll avoid the Mark Hamill syndrome and actually navigate a decent, long-spanning career after Potter is done.
