HOLLYWOOD - An inquest into the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel will begin on Oct. 30 and could run into 2008, a judge in the Bahamas has ruled.
The 20-year-old died in hospital in Nassau on Sept. 10, 2006, just three days after Anna Nicole had given birth to daughter Dannielynn.
He was found to have a number of drugs in his bloodstream by a private autopsy--but an official inquest into the cause of his death has been delayed by Bahamas authorities.
Now a date has been agreed and Bahamas Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez has revealed he expects more than 35 witnesses to give evidence, including Howard K. Stern.
Magistrate William Campbell will conduct the inquest.
