DeGeneres picked up Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
Soap opera The Young and the Restless was honored in three categories--Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Christian Jules LeBlanc, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Greg Rikaart and Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for David Lago.
General Hospital also picked up three gongs, including Outstanding Drama
Series Directing Team, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for
Natalia Livingston and Outstanding Drama Series.
The West Wing star Stockard Channing was named Outstanding Performer in a
Children/Youth/Family Special for Jack, adding her Daytime Emmy to prime-time
Emmys and theatre accolades.
Former Happy Days actor Henry Winkler was honored with Outstanding Performer
in an Animated Program in Clifford's Puppy Days, but was unable to pick up his
trophy in person.
