HOLLYWOOD - Michael De Luca - who, despite bringing New Line Cinema to prominence with such movies as Boogie Nights, Seven, and Rush Hour, was removed as production chief - may bolt to rival company DreamWorks. De Luca would reportedly leave behind a $105 million production deal with New Line to join Jeffrey Katzenberg at DreamWorks, which is riding high on the release of Shrek, Variety reports. De Luca's strength at talent relations was cited as the major reason DreamWorks is courting for a top executive spot, despite a string of flops - including Little Nicky - which led to his ouster.
