Denzel Washington is in talks to star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the Universal action flick 2 Guns, Deadline.com reports. Based on a graphic novel by Stephen Grant, the film concerns a DEA agent and naval intelligence officer who unknowingly embark on simultaneous undercover mob investigations. Baltasar Kormakur, helmer of Wahlberg's recent heist thriller Contraband, is attached to direct.
Washington's latest film, the thriller Safe House, in which the two-time Oscar winner stars opposite Ryan Reynolds, opens everywhere this Friday.
