Junior might not have seemed to be in great shape as The Sopranos came to an end, but the actor who played him, Dominic Chianese, is alive, well and active -- and returning to HBO.
Chianese will appear in half of the upcoming season of Boardwalk Empire's 12 episodes, reuniting with Sopranos veteran/Boardwalk mastermind Terence Winter.
According to Winter, Chianese will be "almost unrecognizable" as Leander Whitlock, a contemporary of Dabney Coleman's character, Commodore.
Season 2 premieres Sept. 25.
