Dylan McDermott Lands ‘American Horror Story’ Pilot Lead

Dylan McDermottLooks like Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, two of the three men responsible for Glee, have found their latest mouth piece to spout out their beliefs. Oh that’s too harsh. Glee is about kids singing after all, nothing more. I don’t want to start sounding like Victoria Jackson or anything.

Anyway, Dylan McDermott, he of The Practice, has landed the lead role in Murphy and Falchuk's new pilot for FX, American Horror Story. Not much is known about the premise of the show except McDermott will play a therapist who has hurt his wife, to be played by Connie Britton.

Not sure how I feel about this series so far. On one hand, I really liked Murphy’s Nip/Tuck and AHS finds him back at FX, where he really belongs. On the other, this is the duo that made Glee and Murphy directed Eat Pray Love. Could be a toss up. We’ll just have to see.
