Estella Warren Gets “Under” Cover

HOLLYWOOD - Another supermodel is turning Hollywood on its ear, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer couldn’t be happier.

“Sports Illustrated” model and professional synchronized swimmer Estella Warren is racking up film projects, and her latest role will be taking her Down Under. Warren will join Jerry O'Connell (“Sliders”) and Anthony Anderson (“Me, Myself & Irene”) in producer Bruckheimer’s new action-comedy “Down and Under.”

In the film, two long-time friends, a New York hairstylist (O’Connell) and an unsuccessful musician (Anderson) are forced to work for the Mafia, and are sent to Australia to deliver $100,000. However, a wild kangaroo accidentally takes the money, and the pair is forced to pursue the critter.

Warren will play a wildlife researcher who helps the duo with her kangaroo knowledge, and serve as O’Connell’s love interest. The movie will be directed by “Coyote Ugly’s” David McNally, and will begin shooting next month.

In addition to this Australian epic, Warren will appear in Tim Burton’s summer release, “Planet of the Apes," as well as director Renny Harlin’s upcoming Sylvester Stallone flick, “Driven.”
