For a girl who's got an Academy Award and over a billion dollars in domestic gross to her name, Renee Zellweger hasn't had too many notable releases as of late. One of her highest grossing films of all, the CGI family comedy Monsters Vs. Aliens is sure to have a sequel on the way, but you don't have to wait long to see her signature smile on the big screen again as Paramount Pictures opens Case 39 on October 1st!
However, I don't think she'll be smiling much in the Christian Alvart-directed thriller about a social worker (Zellweger) who fights to save a girl from her abusive parents, only to discover that the situation is more dangerous than she ever expected.
