Monday Daily Box Office Rally
First Place - Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables was unbeatable once again, holding onto the #1 spot at the box office after its 2nd weekend in theaters. Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, and the whole crew grossed another $1.95 million Monday, bringing the actioner's total to a solid $67.3 million.
Second Place - Julia Roberts' romance-drama Eat Pray Love was likewise unwilling to give up the #2 spot yesterday, adding over $1.5 million to its $48.7 million cumulative gross.
Third Place - The Friedberg & Seltzer flick Vampires Suck fended off the competition to nab the #3 spot Monday, holding off The Other Guys by just a few hundred ticket sales. The Twilight-spoofing comedy earned $1.24 million at the box office for a $19.8 million total.
