FX Renews 'Sons of Anarchy' for Two More Seasons

Sons of AnarchyFX's highest-rated series ever, Sons of Anarchy, has been renewed for at least two more seasons.

The news -- which is unsurprising, given the series' massive viewership -- comes as creator Kurt Sutter signs an overall deal with Fox TV and FX Productions, which means Anarchy and Sutter will stay put for the foreseeable future, AND Sutter will be able to develop more TV content for FX and its parent company.

The two-season renewal takes Anarchy through season 6, and it has always been assumed by Sutter and those close to him that the infamously Emmy-snubbed series would end after seven seasons.

Sutter had this to say on Friday to The Hollywood Reporter: "If there’s more story to be told after seven seasons and if financially it’s still a feasible endeavor, I’m definitely open to doing more."
