has confirmed press reports she is battling cancer, as her celebrity friends send their best wishes to her.
The former
Charlie's Angels
star, 59, has been diagnosed with cancer of the intestine and is currently undergoing radiation treatment.
Confirming a report in this week's
National Enquirer
tabloid,
Fawcett
said, "Please respect my privacy at this challenging time."

, says, "I love Farrah, I had no idea. Our thoughts are with her, wishing her the best and a speedy recovery."
