The father of British actress Lucy Gordon has paid tribute to his tragic daughter after her suicide at an apartment in Paris on Wednesday.
Richard Gordon described the Spider-Man 3 star as the "light" of her family and told of his pride over her blossoming Hollywood career.
He said, "The whole family is so proud of Lucy, and we always have been... We loved her so much throughout her life. She was the light of mine, her mum's, and her sister's lives.
"She was a lovely, generous person."
The devastated dad also put an end to speculation over the circumstances of 28-year-old Gordon's death by confirming that two suicide notes had been found at her Paris home -- one written to her parents and the other outlining her wishes for the disposal of her estate.
He added, "There is no question of foul play. Lucy committed suicide."
