Ferrell Takes Bush to Broadway?

Move over Josh Brolin, you’ve got some competition. Serial impersonator Will Ferrell is about to try his hand at playing President Bush in the new Broadway show“You’re Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush.”

Details of the solo engagement haven’t been released according to the Huffington Post, but we do know Ferrell’s partner in crime Adam McKay will helm the production. McKay wrote and directed Step Brothers, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. The duo also runs the popular website funnyordie.com.

Look for previews Inauguration Day, Jan. 20 and a run from Feb. 1 to March 15 at the Cort Theater.
