Following the (very) successful 3D rerelease of The Lion King, Disney has announced that four of its classics will soon return to theaters with the "treatment": Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo.
Best Picture nominee Beauty and the Beast will kick things off on Jan. 13, 2012; followed by Pixar hits Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc., on Sept. 13, 2012, and Jan. 18, 2013, respectively; and finally The Little Mermaid on Sept. 13, 2013.
Lion King, which was rereleased in 3D on Sept. 16, has added nearly $80 million -- and counting -- to its box office gross.
