After a week of publicity photos, Pixar has finally released the first trailer for their new adventure, Brave. Brave tells the story of free-spirited heroine Merida (Kelly Macdonald), a princess who must defend her kingdom after she unwittingly releases a great evil. Pixar seems to have made its first critical dud with Cars 2, so it's reassuring to see the studio return to something that seems new and innovative. Not to mention absolutely gorgeous. So far, the film is reminding me of the Oscar-Nominated and stunning The Secret of Kells, which is a good sign. Brave will be released June 22, 2012, and I will be counting the days until then.
