HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood actor Laurence Fishburne is being sued by his former personal assistant for allegedly firing her for being pregnant.
The Mystic River star confronted Kristel Crews when he discovered she was expecting a child to find out her reason for doing so, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday.
Before allegedly sacking Crews, the Oscar-nominated actor is said to have made her "explain to him in great detail, repeatedly, why she made the decision to have a child and the physical course it took to become pregnant."
The lawsuit, obtained by website TMZ.com, also says Fishburne "could not understand why she had not come to him before she made the decision to become pregnant" and "that there were consequences to her decision to have the baby without consulting him."
