Former 'Price Is Right' Worker Sues Bob Barker

HOLLYWOOD - Bob Barker has been sued by a former employee over allegations that the TV host created an "atmosphere of terror" on The Price Is Right.

Deborah Curling claims she worked on the show for years in a "pleasant working environment"--but it changed when she testified in a wrongful termination lawsuit against Barker by a production assistant on the program.

In the latest lawsuit filed on Thursday, she alleges she was then forced to work in an "intolerable" working environment in the back stage--which left her to leave her job last year.

Curling, who is black, also claims black employees on the show were discriminated against.

The lawsuit, which also names FreemantleMedia North America and CBS as defendants, states, "Barker created an atmosphere of terror on the show, as a result of which any employee who complained about the working environment or contradicted Barker was fired."

Barker, 83, retired from the hit show earlier this year.
