On the same day reports were emerging that
Conan O'Brien’s talks with Fox had
possibly hit a snag, the former
Tonight Show host has made a decision -- to go to TBS!
In a very surprising move, O’Brien has spurned network TV for basic cable, according to a press release issued Monday.
O’Brien had this to say: "In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theater, and now I'm headed to basic cable … My plan is working perfectly."
His new late-night show will debut in November and will be followed at midnight by
Lopez Tonight on the TBS schedule.
