HOLLYWOOD - Full Monty director Peter Cattaneo has a little something cooking in the oven. For the past four years Cattaneo has been working on a new film called Lucky Break, starring Christopher Plummer and Timothy Spall.
The film tells the tale of convicts planning a mass breakout while staging a musical in the prison.
But Cattaneo, who will premiere Lucky Break at London's Edinburgh Film Festival next week, believes it will be hard to top the hit his previous movie became.
"There is absolutely no way it will be as big. Nothing but nothing is going to be The Full Monty again," he was quoted as saying in Saturday's London Daily Telegraph.
The Full Monty, the story of unemployed steelworkers who mounted their own strip show, cost just $4.27 million to produce, grossed £200 million worldwide (approximately $284 million), and won an Oscar for its music.
