HOLLYWOOD - Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson and Lindsay Lohan have emerged as the front runners in the race to land the coveted role of Jeannie in the upcoming movie adaptation of TV series I Dream of Jeannie.
Keira Knightley and Jessica Simpson were initially among the favorites to land the role that Barbara Eden made popular in the 1960s, but they've since fallen out of the race, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The movie will be directed by Bend It Like Beckham filmmaker Gurinder Chadha.
