HOLLYWOOD - Mel Gibson is musing over the idea of turning his favorite vacation destination into a permanent home after confessing he could quit Hollywood for Costa Rica.
The actor/director, who made Apocalypto in Latin America and is reportedly making back-to-back films in Panama, admits he is interested in becoming a homeowner in Costa Rica.
He says, "I thought about it. Maybe I'll just come down here sometimes and spend my holidays."
Gibson has been enjoying a working vacation in Costa Rica, while scouting out new movie locations for his upcoming epic, a biopic of Spanish explorer Vasco Nunez De Balboa.
