Lea Michele has become somewhat of a staple in the fashion community and it looks like some brands are finally taking notice. E! News reports that the Glee starlet has been named the newest spokeswoman for Candie's, and you have to admit it's kind of the perfect fit. Her many red carpet appearances are enough to show just how fashionable this young actress can be - unlike her fictional character, Rachel Berry.
An insider for the fashion brand explained the decision to make Michele their newest Candie's girl, saying, "Lea's fans are the same as Candie's fans." One could say she's just about the perfect "eye candy." So far, both Candie's and Lea's reps have remained mum about the matter, but a source told E! News that the actress will appear in a series of print ads for the company later this year as part of her endorsement deal. Former Candie's spokesmodels include Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Fergie and Jenny McCarthy, along with their most recent celebrity spokeswoman, Vanessa Hudgens. Looks like Michele will have some pretty big shoes to fill, so to speak.
