'Glee's' Darren Criss In Talks To Replace Daniel Radcliffe in 'How To Succeed in Business'

darren crissIs Darren Criss trading in his Warblers' jacket for a pair of Broadway shoes?  According to Darren's rep, the Glee star is in talks to succeed Daniel Radcliffe as the lead in the Broadway musical revival How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.  If the deal goes through then Criss would replace the Harry Potter star during a three-week time period from Jan. 3 to Jan. 22 where he would play the corporate ladder-climbing J. Pierrepont Finch.  As a result, the actor would miss filming an episode and a half of the Fox hit, Glee

Taking over for Radcliffe would no doubt have a special significance to Criss.  Before he became Glee's number one gay heartthrob, he in fact starred as the boy-who-lived wizard in A Very Harry Potter Musical, which quickly went viral to became a YouTube sensation, the music and lyrics to which Criss co-wrote while attending the University of Michigan.  There's no doubt in my mind that the adorable actor would do a fantastic job on Broadway (undoubtedly even putting Radcliffe's performance to shame), but the real question is -- are we willing to give up Blaine if he goes on a hiatus to the Great White Way?  Decisions, decisions.
