HOLLYWOOD - Politician Al Gore's hard-hitting environmental film An Inconvenient Truth and the Dixie Chicks rockumentary Shut Up & Sing are among the 15 movies shortlisted for a 2007 Best Documentary Oscar.
Over 80 features originally qualified in the category for the 79th Academy Awards next year.
Other titles under consideration include Can Mr. Smith Get to Washington Anymore?, Deliver Us from Evil, Jesus Camp and The War Tapes.
Nominations for the 79th Academy Awards will be announced on Jan. 23. The Oscars will be presented on Feb. 25.
