Grace Kelly Biopic Planned

Grace Kelly, the Hollywood starlet who became a princess, is about to get her own biopic. THR reports that French producer Pierre-Ange Le Pogam (Colombiana) has picked up Arash Amel's spec script Grace of Monaco, which casts Kelly's story as a King's Speech-esque tale. Le Pogam will produce through his newly spawned Stone Angel banner.

Kelly became one of Hollywood's most popular actresses during her brief film career, starring in such films as Rear Window, To Catch a Thief, and The Country Girl, the latter of which earned her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. She wed Prince Ranier III of Monaco in 1956 and was re-christened Princess Grace. She died in a 1982 car accident.
